Steel Magnolias, Annelle Dupuy
The Theatre Palisades in Pacific Palisades, CA presented the all-women cast of "Steel Magnolias."
A tender, funny, sad, funny play about the family tug of war between a mother, daughter and their friends who all come to the same beauty parlor where life and its issues get discussed and dissected in a very Southern and ladylike way. A perennial favorite of the American stage! Theatre Palisades latest production is “Steel Magnolias”. A poignant, humorous, and touching story by Robert Harling.
I played the role of Annelle who is the new woman in town joining the group of ladies. She shows up in town following the personal tragedy after her criminal husband abandoned her. Despite her fears, she jumps into Louisiana life with both feet and completely transforms herself.
